SAP NetWeaver Developer .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications on the SAP NetWeaver Java Server.

• Utilize SAP NetWeaver Development Studio (NWDS) Version 7.5 or lower for application development.

• Develop components using Web Dynpro Java, JSP, Servlets, and other SAP Java frameworks.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Java applications, deployment, and performance.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and convert them into scalable solutions.

• Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and adhere to development best practices.

• Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes within SAP NetWeaver environments.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience in SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (or earlier versions).

• Expertise in SAP NetWeaver Development Studio (NWDS).

• Proficiency in Java/J2EE development, specifically on the SAP Java Server.

• Experience working with SAP Java technologies such as Web Dynpro Java, JSP, Servlets, and related components.

• Good understanding of SAP Portal, UME, KM, and NWDI (added advantage).

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Experience with application lifecycle management and deployment processes within SAP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP system upgrades or migrations.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC/S/4HANA integration concepts.

• Ability to work in agile or hybrid development environments.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
