About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for commercial banking projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Develop detailed project plans, define scope, set realistic timelines, and manage budgets effectively.

• Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) to ensure iterative development, collaboration, and flexibility.

• Manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders (clients, internal teams, and management) to provide project updates and ensure alignment.

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

• Utilize project management tools (Jira, Confluence) for task management, documentation, and collaboration.

• Contribute to program management initiatives by coordinating with other project managers and contributing to overall program strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, IT, Finance).

• 6-8 years of proven project management experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial banking projects.

• Demonstrable experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).

• Solid understanding of project budgeting and financial management.

• Experience in program management is highly desirable.

• Proven ability to manage vendors and external partners.

• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Experience with specific banking software or systems.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the banking industry.
