Job Description

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled DW Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our data warehouse solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing data-driven systems that support critical business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse components, including data models, ETL pipelines, and analytical queries.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.  

  • Work closely with source system representatives to gather information about system structures and data.

  • Enhance existing physical data models (L1/L2 layers) and add new tables/structures as needed.

  • Develop SQL queries and analytical functions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

  • Implement and manage code deployments using CI/CD pipelines, GIT, and development branches.

  • Contribute to the optimization and performance tuning of data warehouse systems.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Experience in data warehouse (DWH) analytics.

  • Proficiency in data modeling and data mapping.

  • Expertise in SQL and analytical functions.

  • Ability to coordinate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements.

  • Experience with code deployments using CI/CD pipelines, GIT, and managing development branches.

Optional Skills:

  • Experience with Databricks.

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Senior level experience in data warehousing.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
