SAP Investment Management Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support SAP Investment Management (IM) solutions based on business requirements.

• Configure and manage Investment Programs, Appropriation Requests, Investment Measures, and Budget Profiles.

• Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning, budgeting, and investment monitoring processes.

• Manage budget allocation, availability control, and budget distribution across investment programs and projects.

• Configure and support budget planning and control for capital investment initiatives.

• Collaborate with business users to analyze investment planning requirements and propose SAP standard solutions.

• Ensure seamless integration between SAP IM, SAP FI/CO, SAP Project System (PS), and SAP Asset Accounting (AA).

• Support project execution, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-production support activities.

• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolutions for business-critical investment processes.

• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and user training materials.

• Support data migration, system enhancements, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP ERP Investment Management (IM).

• Hands-on expertise in Investment Programs, Appropriation Requests, and Investment Measures.

• Experience in Budget Planning, Budget Distribution, and Availability Control.

• Strong understanding of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Management processes.

• Experience integrating SAP IM with:

  • SAP Financial Accounting (FI)

  • SAP Controlling (CO)

  • SAP Project System (PS)

  • SAP Asset Accounting (AA)

• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Investment Management.

• Knowledge of SAP Project System (PS) and Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM).

• Experience in capital project accounting and asset capitalization processes.

• SAP Investment Management or SAP Finance certification is preferred.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
