Alpha Drop Ventures is building the standard layer for cultural commerce. At the center is DROPZ, our core platform. Around it sit the brands we build and own, like Cipher Noir, which set the bar for what credible culture-led product looks like. One ecosystem, one standard, many surfaces. We are pre-launch, pre-revenue, and raising our Seed round. The infrastructure is built, the team is in place, and the story is real. We need someone to make sure the right people hear it.
The Role
You own the investor side of the business. Finding the right capital, building the right relationships, preparing the right materials, and keeping every conversation moving with intent. This is not a support role. You initiate, you own, and you drive.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of VCs, angel investors, family offices, and strategic backers aligned to our stage, sector, and story
Initiate outreach and first conversations independently, representing the company with clarity and conviction before the founder enters the room
Manage existing investor relationships with the same discipline as new ones, keeping backers informed, engaged, and warm through structured updates and regular touchpoints
Own the preparation of all investor-facing materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, data rooms, and financial summaries, working with internal support for content and design
Drive the Seed round process end to end, tracking conversations, managing timelines, following up persistently, and keeping the pipeline from stalling
Identify gaps in how the company is being positioned or presented to investors and fix them before they cost a conversation
Work directly with the founder daily, keeping the process tight, decisions informed, and priorities clear
What This Actually Is
This is a founding team role. That means more than a title.
You are working on the most consequential process in the company right now. Every conversation you initiate, every deck you send, and every relationship you build either moves the round forward or does not
You will operate in a pre-revenue environment where the story, the team, and the vision are the product. You need to be comfortable selling something that does not yet have a number behind it
You work closely with the founder but you do not wait for direction on every step. You see what needs to move and you move it
Feedback is direct and unfiltered. You hear clearly when something is off and when it lands, and you are expected to handle both calmly
If you are looking for a structured IR role inside an established company with a defined process and a warm pipeline handed to you, this is the wrong room, and that is fine.
How We Build And What Sets You Apart
We are here to build something, not make noise around something. We hold a high bar and we hold it together. The role gets you hired. This is what makes you matter here.
You treat every investor conversation as a representation of the company at its highest standard, because it is
You build the pipeline before anyone asks where it stands, and you already know which conversations need to move this week
You prepare materials that are sharp, honest, and specific, not templated decks with generic market slides
You follow up with persistence and taste, knowing the difference between staying present and becoming noise
No passive feedback, no dropped context, no low effort with an excuse attached
When a conversation stalls, you diagnose why and fix it. When a deck is not landing, you rewrite it before the next meeting
You protect the company's positioning in every interaction, because how we show up to investors shapes how the company is perceived long after the round closes
Going above and beyond is not about hours. It is about caring more precisely than the task requires, and treating the Seed round like the foundation it actually is
Who You Are
Experience working on the fundraising side at a startup, with direct involvement in investor outreach, relationship management, and materials preparation
Have been part of a round that closed, either as the person driving it or as a close collaborator in the process
Able to initiate and hold investor conversations independently, with the clarity and confidence to represent an early-stage company without leaning on the founder for every interaction
Strong writer and communicator who can prepare pitch decks, one-pagers, and investor updates that are sharp, specific, and built around a real narrative
Organised with pipelines, timelines, and follow-ups, keeping the process visible and moving without things slipping through
Comfortable operating in a pre-revenue environment where conviction, story, and team quality are the primary instruments
Genuinely interested in company building, not just fundraising mechanics. You want to be part of what gets built with the capital, not just help close the round
Build with us. Do not perform for us.
