Alpha Drop Ventures is building the standard layer for cultural commerce. At the center is DROPZ, our core platform. Around it sit the brands we build and own, like Cipher Noir, which set the bar for what credible culture-led product looks like. One ecosystem, one standard, many surfaces. We are pre-launch, raising, and moving fast with people who could be doing easier things somewhere else and chose this instead. We need someone to give every drop its visual identity.
The Role
You own the visual system for every release. Social, ads, web, packaging, all of it. Every asset either makes a drop feel inevitable or makes it feel like everyone else. There is no inconsistent execution here.
Build distinct visual identities for in-house drops and collaborations, developing typography, palettes, and motifs, then turning them into templates that keep every asset aligned across the full release
Design social and marketing graphics that turn a brief into multiple strong directions, exported clean and platform-ready, telling the drop story clearly
Create paid ad creatives across angles, placements, and formats, structuring source files so the team can test, refresh, and scale without rebuilding from scratch
Support packaging and unboxing visuals, preparing print-ready files with correct dielines, bleeds, and production notes
Keep website visuals consistent with the DROPZ language, designing banners, thumbnails, and product visuals that feel cohesive end to end
Maintain design hygiene across every asset, organising files by drop and channel, naming versions clearly, and documenting decisions so handoffs are clean
Build reusable components, layout systems, and export presets that let the team ship high volume without lowering the bar
What This Actually Is
This is a founding team role. That means more than a title.
You will not always get a clean brief. You make design decisions with incomplete context and refine from feedback without losing momentum
Your work ships across social, ads, web, and packaging while the brand and the product are still being sharpened
Feedback is direct and unfiltered. You hear clearly when something is off and when it lands, and you are expected to handle both calmly
You will help define the visual identity of every drop before there is a mature system to lean on. That is the rare part of this role and the demanding part
If you want fixed lanes and a manager who checks in twice a week, this is the wrong room, and that is fine.

You protect the standard across every surface, because one off-brand asset in one corner of a drop weakens the whole release
Going above and beyond is not about hours. It is about caring more precisely than the task requires, and designing like every asset is part of how a drop earns belief
Who You Are
Minimum 12 to 24 months of hands-on experience shipping graphic design across social, web, paid ads, and print, with a portfolio that shows range across formats and visual systems, not just individual pieces
Proven ability to build distinct visual identities for drops, campaigns, or brands, with work that shows you can create something fresh while keeping the underlying brand rules intact
Strong production discipline across both print and digital, with correct file preparation, dielines, bleeds, versioning, naming, and export standards that do not need to be checked by someone else
Fluent in tools like Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, with working knowledge of how to structure files so collaborators and production partners can pick them up cleanly
Comfortable moving fast with incomplete information, making clear visual decisions and iterating from feedback without losing momentum or quality
Curious about culture, trends, and references, with enough judgment to know what belongs in the brand language and what does not
Detail-obsessed in the right way. You catch hierarchy issues, spacing inconsistencies, and off-brand execution before anyone else has to
