Alpha Drop Ventures is building the standard layer for cultural commerce. At the center is DROPZ, the verified limited-edition drop platform. Around it sit the brands we build and own, like Cipher Noir, which set the bar for what credible culture-led product looks like. One ecosystem, one standard, many surfaces. The Role

You own how the ecosystem sounds. DROPZ, the platform voice. The owned brands, each with its own tone but the same standard underneath. Every word that goes out either earns belief or spends it. There is no neutral copy here.

  • Write drop narratives, brand and creator stories, editorial, landing pages, and email across DROPZ and our owned brands, each piece feeling specific and premium, never generic or over-hyped

  • Hold a clear line between the platform voice and each brand voice, so DROPZ reads like infrastructure and a label like Cipher Noir reads like culture, without the two bleeding into each other

  • Turn product details and cultural context into copy that makes people understand the object and want it, capturing fit, materials, inspiration, craft, and drop intent

  • Build the voice guides, templates, glossaries, and frameworks that keep quality high across every surface even when timelines are tight and inputs are messy

  • Self-edit to a clean final draft, checking tone, accuracy, naming, and flow, so the work creates no downstream corrections

  • Move fast during drop weeks, reworking copy when inputs change, without letting voice or accuracy slip

What This Actually Is

This is a founding team role. That means more than a title.

  • You will not always get a clean brief. You make decisions with incomplete context and refine from feedback without losing momentum

  • Your work goes live in front of issuers, collectors, and partners while the platform and brands are still being sharpened

  • Feedback is direct and unfiltered. You hear clearly when something is off and when it lands, and you are expected to handle both calmly

  • You will help define how multiple brands sound before there is a playbook for any of them. That is the rare part of this role and the demanding part

If you want fixed lanes and a manager who checks in twice a week, this is the wrong room, and that is fine.

Who You Are

  • 12 to 24 months in brand, editorial, content, or community, with samples that show structure, clarity, and taste across more than one format

  • Strong narrative writer who moves a reader from hook to insight to payoff without losing the product truth along the way

  • Real taste and attention to nuance. You know the difference between writing that sounds impressive and writing that actually feels true

  • Able to write across the funnel and across brands, shifting tone and structure for editorial, landing pages, and email while keeping each voice consistent.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, fast turnarounds, and decisions made on incomplete information, then refining from feedback and results

  • Genuinely curious about culture, identity, aesthetics, and human behaviour, not just writing words for conversion. You want to shape how brands earn emotional relevance over time.
