Job Description
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Must have good working experience in control logic development (for Battery Management or motor control
unit or charging system or vehicle control unit) using MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow or equivalent tools.
• Must have good working experience in manual C coding.
• Must have good working experience in MIL, SIL & HIL validation.
• Must have good working experience in code generation & debugging using preferably TargetLink else
Embedded Coder.
• Must be strong in MATLAB scripting.
• Candidate with working knowledge of Requirement Engineering/requirement gathering will be preferred.
• Candidate with working knowledge of ASPICE based SW development processes will be preferred.
• Candidate with working knowledge of standards AUTOSAR, MISRA C, ISO 26262 will be preferred.
• Candidate with sound knowledge of conventional & EV powertrain systems (Combustion Engine,
Transmission, battery management system, vehicle control unit, charging system) will be preferred.
• Candidate with knowledge of Python/other scripting language will be preferred.
• High analytical and conceptual skills and ability to work independently.
• Good presentation - and English language skills.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Definition and development of SW Requirements for Controls, Functions and Interfaces for ICE, EV vehicles.
• Development of innovative, powerful and efficient algorithms for embedded control units with focus on model-
based (Simulink) software development and manual (C coding).
• Setup and maintain the automatic C code generated from Matlab/Simulink models. Including back-to-back tests
and report generation.
• SW Components assembly into a single SW macro-component by setting up and maintaining a scripted
pipeline.
• C-code debugging and comparing against Simulink models.
• Perform SW Components Integration.
• Validation and optimization of the functions on the simulated & real system (MIL, SIL, HIL, test bench,
vehicle).
• System development within the V-process.
• Teamwork and interaction with internal and external customers.
• Support and optimization of our development processes and tools.
