About the role — We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester with 2–5 years of experience in functional and manual testing. This remote position involves ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases.

• Perform functional testing and manual testing on various software applications.

• Identify, document, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.

• Collaborate with development teams to understand features and functionality.

• Provide feedback on software usability and functionality.

• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on functional and manual testing.

• Proficiency in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with defect tracking tools and reporting.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with automated testing tools.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.

• Experience in performance testing and load testing.
